In her brown vintage suit she sits at the bus stop, but doesnt get on the bus...
With her pretty polka-dotted luggage and a trash bag of posessions by her side, she waits.

Classy indeed considering the circumstances. I don't think most of us realize that we're only a few missed paychecks from being where she is....
Paz - too true. What you might not be able to tell from the photo is that she is (I'm guessing) in her 70's or maybe 80's. She struck me as a woman who has probably seen a lot of good times and bad times, and knows how to keep her dignity and class through it all. I hope she's o.k.

Sometimes it's best to let that bus pass by. Reminds us of how much some crp doesn't matter in life.
I'm sure she's fine. If she's in her 70's and still independent, she's doing better than most.
Not sure if I should even think about the situation of others. I certainly know better than to be judgmental. But I am curious as to the extraordinary life that each person leads and wonder if someone may be curious about mine.
In an old TV show from the 1950's or maybe the 60's called The Naked City, the dialogue at the end of the program features the announcer telling the watcher, "There are 8,000,000 stories in the naked city, this has been one of them." I'm sure this woman has a story as we all do.

I'm not trying to be judgmental about that woman, but as you say, I'm curious. Looks like she might have some fascinating stories to tell... as you do too.
