Scenes From A Bus Stop: Waiting At Dusk
Scenes from a bus stop:
Hip-hop be-bop something jazzy
slides out a door on the second floor
and falls into the street.
Cops chase robbers to the beat.
Neighbors talk loudly on the corner.
-- Nigga this and Nigga that.
-- People here say that a lot, but they dont know what it means.
-- They shot Charlie with an AK.
Boys hang out a car window to get a look at a pretty girl.
She turns around and they can see, shes a very old woman with a great body that doesnt match.
Boys drive off quiet and confused.
Ah, here comes the bus.

I liked that. You're very observant, but you think while you observe. If I were to wait for a bus, my poem would go
where's the bus
where's tne bus
where's the bus
here comes the bus!
Roy - hee-hee! No it wouldn't, you're one of the goodest writers I know. :D

Lol @ comment to spammer. Love It!
Anne...great prose here. You definitely painted a picture I could see. Vegas is sure different from Cali, isn't it?
Skinny - thanks, glad you liked it. Honestly I'm not crazy about Vegas, but I do like the people here. And there's always something interesting or strange happening. It's quite an adventure. What more could a blogger want? :)

The weather is pretty nice too, isn't it?
My next relocation will be dictated by weather & terrain.
Skinny - weather is one of the things I DON'T like about Vegas. It's extreme. The 2nd day I was here, July 5th, it was 121 degrees! In August/September it poured and poured rain, which was kinda cool actually. And in winter it got pretty cold - even a few flakes of snow. California is much more moderate.
